\ud83d\udcc5On 11th of February 2025 the Department of Greek at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana, in cooperation with the Greek Embassy in Albania and the Greek Foundation for Language and Culture, held and event for the International Greek Language Day 2025, on the topic \u201cGreek language teaching: from primary education to upper secondary education\u201d.<\/p>\n
\ud83c\udf0d\ud83d\udde3\ufe0fThis event fostered discussions on Greek language teaching in private and public institutions. The following participants gave their greetings:<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcda Other speakers were, Mr. Konstantinos Giakoumis, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Linguistic Communication at “Logos” University College, on the role of higher education, and Mr. Ziso Lluci, Director of LEO (ZVA) Finiq-Dropull, on the importance of education for the Greek minority.
\n\ud83d\udc68\u200d\ud83c\udfebLecturers from the Department of Greek at FFL – UT and the University of Gjirokastra, as well as representatives of private schools, presented innovative approaches to teaching.
\n\ud83d\udd11 The Department of Greek continues to play a key role in promoting the Greek language and culture, contributing to the training of future teachers and the development of new didactic methods.<\/p>\n
\ud83d\udd04 The meeting concluded with discussions, emphasizing the need for cooperation between educational institutions to advance the teaching of the Greek language in Albania.<\/p>\n
