Prof. Dr. Xhemile Abdiu, had the opportunity to visit the Ottoman Room at the \u201cSotir Kolea\u201d Center, located within the National Library. They were warmly welcomed by the Center\u2019s Director and Mr. Hisen Sulejmani.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udfdb The Center represents an invaluable cultural treasure, housing an extraordinary collection of rare books. During the visit, Mr. Hisen Sulejmani delivered a presentation in Turkish, highlighting the significance of the collection, with a particular focus on the Ottoman Room, which contains over 4,000 books in Ottoman, Turkish, and Persian language.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udcda Students were introduced to the categorization of the collection and were able to closely examine original works authored by Sami Frash\u00ebri, along with encyclopedias, books, and manuscripts of great cultural and literary importance. These included works by notable figures such as Dede Korkut, Mevlana, and various other poets, as well as manuscripts by bejtexhinj poets.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd16 They also expressed their enthusiasm to revisit the Ottoman Room and their intent to register with the library.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 This visit is anticipated to have been a valuable experience for the students, enabling them to explore the cultural wealth of the library and inspiring them to pursue engaging topics for future academic research.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\ud83d\udcc5 January 8, 2025 \ud83c\udf1f The second-year students of the study program Master in Turkish Language Teaching, under the guidance of Assoc.
