During the visit, Ambassador Suard met with the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Esmeralda Kromidha, academic staff of the French Language Department, as well as with students enrolled in the study program in French Language and Albanian Sign Language.<\/p>\n<p>This visit reconfirms the continuous support of the French Embassy for the academic activities of the Faculty of Foreign Languages \u2013 a collaboration that has been firmly established over the years with French universities and international institutions operating both in Albania and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>In her speech, Dean Prof. Dr. Esmeralda Kromidha expressed her gratitude to the Ambassador for her visit and the attention paid to the new program. She presented the faculty\u2019s numerous inter-university collaboration programs, emphasizing in particular the Francophone partnerships, as well as the humanistic values represented by the new program in French and Albanian Sign Language. According to her, this program embodies the faculty\u2019s commitment to inclusion, equal opportunities, and high-quality academic education.<\/p>\n<p>For her part, Ambassador Suard appreciated the important role of the Faculty of Foreign Languages in Albania, emphasizing that students trained in this institution contribute to key sectors of the country\u2019s development, such as innovation and tourism.
