Her work has been recognized through important national and international awards and distinctions, including the <b>\u201cPashko Gje\u00e7i\u201d National Translation Award (2025)<\/b>, the <b>National Award for \u201cBest Translation of the Year\u201d (2016)<\/b>, and the title of <b>\u201cCavaliere della Stella d\u2019Italia\u201d (Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy, 2018)<\/b>, conferred by the President of the Italian Republic.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Through the moderation of <b>Associate Professor Dr. Marsela Likaj<\/b>, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the audience was introduced to Dr. Kastrati\u2019s academic and professional profile, as well as her contribution to literary translation, translation studies and Italian culture. Through questions and reflections, the discussion focused on the book\u2019s central themes, paying particular attention to the relationship between the author, the translation process and the literary translator. The author shared experiences and insights drawn from her long-standing career as a scholar, lecturer and translator of works by renowned Italian authors such as <b>Umberto Eco, Alberto Moravia, Andrea Camilleri, Antonio Pennacchi<\/b> and <b>Carlo Levi<\/b>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">The discussion highlighted translation not only as a linguistic process, but also as an act of cultural and creative interpretation, encouraging interest and reflection among participants.
