{"id":44532,"date":"2025-05-12T10:37:00","date_gmt":"2025-05-12T10:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fgjh.edu.al\/?p=44532"},"modified":"2026-10-02T10:37:51","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T10:37:51","slug":"meeting-with-dr-ethem-baymak","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fgjh.edu.al\/en\/meeting-with-dr-ethem-baymak\/","title":{"rendered":"Meeting with Dr. Ethem Baymak"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">On <b>12 May 2025<\/b>, <b>Dr. Ethem Baymak<\/b>, former lecturer in the Turkish Language Section at the <b>University of Pristina<\/b>, renowned painter whose exhibitions have received recognition in Kosovo, the Balkans, T\u00fcrkiye, and across Europe, as well as a poet and accomplished artist, visited the <b>Turkish Language Section at the Faculty of Foreign Languages<\/b> during a cultural event in Tirana in which he was invited to participate. During his visit, he held an informal meeting with second-year students.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Dr. Baymak spoke about <b>Turkish literature and Turkish literature in the Balkans<\/b>, highlighting prominent figures of Turkish literature with Balkan origins, such as <b>Mehmet Akif Ersoy<\/b>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">He also discussed Turkish literary activity in <b>Pristina and Prizren<\/b>, as well as his own passion for art, poetry, and painting.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">During the meeting, Dr. Baymak introduced the students to his latest book, <b><i>Edebiyat\u2019ta Mektuplar<\/i> (<i>Letters in Literature<\/i>)<\/b>, published in 2025. The book explores the correspondence between prominent literary figures from the Balkans and leading writers of Turkish literature.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">The meeting took place in a warm and informal atmosphere, developing into an engaging conversation between an artist deeply passionate about <b>art, poetry, painting, and literature<\/b> and the students who attended the visit.
