📢 The Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana, in collaboration with the Department of English Language, will host an international training activity within the framework of the COST Action CA22126 ENEOLI – European Network on Lexical Innovation project.
“From Words to Worlds: A Training School in Lexical Innovation” will take place at the Faculty of Foreign Languages from 7 to 11 September 2026.
The participants in this activity are Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students interested in exploring the dynamic field of lexical innovation and its applications across different domains. They represent various universities, including the University of Padova, the University of Montenegro, the University of Valladolid, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the University of Porto, the University of Salamanca, the University of Murcia, Roma Tre University, Italy (EMLex programme), the Faculty of Philology in Nikšić, Pompeu Fabra University, the University of Tirana, and “Fan S. Noli” University in Korca.
During this training week, participants will have the opportunity to deepen their theoretical and practical knowledge of the study, analysis, and management of lexical innovation.
The programme includes five thematic modules:
- Fundamentals of neology
- Neology and translation & interpreting
- Neology and terminology
- Neology and language teaching
- Neology and lexicography
