This study program aims to:

  • familiarize students with Artificial Intelligence,
  • know how to teach  the computer  to handle linguistic material by transforming the latter into data,
  • teach them how to automatically extract meaning from text, how to create chatbots*, how to build neuronal networks or how to use linguistic data in dedicated IT systems,

Students will:

  • have a double degree from the University of Tirana and Sorbonne Paris Nord University;
  • attend second-year studies at Sorbonne Paris Nord University (if they wish),
  • develop the practice in France, in the enterprises with which USPN has an agreement.

The internship is an important component of the master’s degree and extends over two years of study. Also, the curriculum foresees lectures by professionals in this field, both foreigners  and Albanian.

Automatic language processing offers tremendous value to organizations in various sectors, from digital communications in healthcare and medicine to finance, marketing, retail, translation, e-learning, and more.

Some of the most common applications of automatic language handling in the industry today:

– spelling analysis (eg grammar)

– classification and automatic generation of texts;

– automatic identification of linguistic aspects;

– artificial intelligence in the labor market (Market Intelligence);

– virtual assistance (eg Alexa and Siri);

– automated language translation (eg Microsoft/Skype Translator);

The curricula is the same as that of the Master’s at Sorbonne University Paris Nord and will be developed by USPN professors, professors of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Faculty of Economics of UT, which is part of the collaboration to create the  double degree.
