Dr. Viola Biti is employed full-time at the Spanish Language Department, Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana. She has 17 years of work experience as a teacher and researcher. She graduated in 2004, at the Faculty of Modern Foreign Languages and Literature, Bachelor Degree with the 4-year system, University of Bologna, ITALY.
Doctoral studies are related to the field of linguistics.
Areas of teaching and research expertise include: Linguistics (Spanish Language Syntax, Practical Language, C Language, Descriptive, Argumentative Text Typology), Communication (Tourism Communication), Didactic (Spanish Language Didactic) and Translation (Translation C-A).
She has translated children’s books with a didactic theme.
She has published articles and studies in magazines inside and outside the country. She has participated in scientific conferences inside and outside the country.
She has completed courses and specializations for perfecting the teaching of the Spanish language and culture and for the formation of Professors at the University of Philology, Madrid and at the Center of Foreign Languages at the University of Granada; University of Salamanca; University of Segovia in Spain.
She is the co-author of the textbook “Tipologia textual descriptiva”., Edfa, 144 pages, ISBN 978-9928-4310-9-7, Tirana, 2020
She is also a member of the editorial board of the Faculty of Foreign Languages magazine.
