✨ From 10 to 12 July 2026, the Bulgarian Language and Culture Summer School moved beyond the lecture halls of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana, offering students the opportunity to experience the Bulgarian language and culture in a vibrant and authentic environment in the Berat region, one of Albania’s richest centres of history and cultural heritage. 🏛️
🎓 The programme concluded with a warm certificate award ceremony attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Raqi Bello and Dr. Miranda Bello, Lecturer of Bulgarian Language, who led the Summer School throughout its implementation, Prof. Dr. Todor Galaunov, lecturer in the Department of Political Science at St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, as well as Mr. Iliyan Krumov, Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Tirana.
🏅 The certificates, issued by St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, recognize the students’ dedication, active participation, and commitment throughout the programme.
💬 At the end of the ceremony, participants shared their impressions and fondest memories of this unique experience and expressed their wish to be part of it again in the years to come.
🤝 This initiative is organized by the Department of Slavic and Balkan Languages of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana, in cooperation with St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, within the framework of the Erasmus+ inter-university cooperation programme, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Tirana.
