đŸ’Œ Experience:
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sonila Sadikaj is a lecturer at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana, with more than 25 years of experience as a German translator and interpreter. Throughout her career, she has translated a broad range of texts, primarily in the social sciences, including works in the fields of politics, economics, law, philology, tourism, and other specialized disciplines. She is also a sworn translator and interpreter, officially certified by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Albania.

✹ Contribution:
She has translated numerous texts for public institutions, international organizations, and foundations. She is co-translator of the anthologies German Short Story Writers (1900–1945) and German Short Story Writers after 1945. As a professional interpreter, she has provided consecutive and simultaneous interpreting at high-level bilateral meetings and international conferences for official delegations from Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, working closely with Albanian public institutions.

🏆 Awards & Recognition:
đŸ”č 2006 – First Prize in the Literary Translation Competition organized by the Albanian–German Cultural Association “Robert Schwarz”, Tirana.
