đ During the first semester of the academic year 2025 – 2026, the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana, opened its doors to an extracurricular French language course (A1 level), designed for students from various fields of study and with diverse academic profiles.
đ The course was attended by students of the University of Tirana from the Faculty of History and Philology, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Foreign Languages, at both Bachelorâs and Masterâs levels, thus creating a dynamic, interdisciplinary, and collaborative learning environment.
The course was built upon contemporary teaching methodologies integrated with interactive digital platforms, which transformed the learning process into an active, motivating, and inclusive experience. Instruction was not limited to grammatical rules or vocabulary, but rather focused on basic communication, real-life situations, and the practical use of the French language, in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) đ.
đ» Technology played a key role through interactive exercises, online activities, and real-time collaboration, bringing students closer to the language and to one another.
đ The outcome? A high level of engagement, motivation, and visible progress in basic language competencies. Students acquired not only initial knowledge of French, but also the confidence to use the language in simple communicative situations.
French Language â a small step at the A1 level, but a major step toward communication, culture, and academic openness! đđ
