The English Department is pleased to organise the 16th International Conference, continuing its interdisciplinary focus on the latest theoretical developments and contemporary practices in linguistics, language teaching, translation, literature, and culture. The 2026 edition places a stronger emphasis on Inclusive Education, foregrounding equity, participation, belonging, accessibility, and respect for linguistic and cultural diversity.
Inspired by the British Council’s 2026 position on language-responsive education, the conference welcomes research on multilingualism and translanguaging; language-supportive pedagogy; inclusive curricula and learning resources; equitable assessment; teacher education; CLIL and English-medium education; accessibility and digital/AI-supported learning; and inclusive approaches in translation, literature, and cultural studies. Contributions may address policy, classroom practice, learner experience, materials, assessment, and teacher development across educational contexts.
The conference aims to bring together scholars, academics, teachers, researchers, and practitioners to exchange research findings, experiences, and innovative practices through original contributions. Papers presented at the conference will be considered for inclusion in the conference proceedings, contributing to national and international academic dialogue on inclusive, equitable, and responsive education.
