Didactics Research Group

The primary purpose of the Didactics Research Group of German Language Department is to provide a complete picture of the performance of this group by highlighting the work done so far.
Reflection on the situation and marking the supporting points of work for the future is part of the group’s goals that will serve as a basis for the design of work strategies for the 2022-2024 years at the group, department and faculty level
GROUP OBJECTIVES:
- Rigorous implementation of the programs of the first and second cycle of studies, Bachelor and Master
- Updating existing programs, in accordance with the requirements of the new law on HEI and the labor market. It will reflect on the changes, evaluate their results and predict by analyzing the needs of the market.
- Continuous assessment of syllabuses content, subject objectives, selected literature, teaching and learning methodologies, as well as assessment methods, etc.
The Didactics Research Group of German Language, in cooperation with other groups of Linguistics etc, in our department, can initiate projects for the assessment of concrete staff needs for qualification/training etc.
- It will aim to share teaching experience among members;
- This group will promote the involvement of students, colleagues and the self-assessment of lecturers, which are important factors in teaching.
In terms of scientific research:
- The aim is to participate in scientific activities inside and outside the country as well as publications in internationally recognized bodies.
It will help in the application of projects within the programs of the European Union, READ, National Agency of Scientific Research, University of Tirana, Faculty of Foreign Languages, etc. And the focus of this teaching research group will be the involvement in ERASMUS +projects for more mobility of lecturers; joint development projects encouraged by different organizations etc.
- We will organize conferences within the department and encourage participation of other departments in scientific activities of our Faculty.
