Today, at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana, doctoral candidate Alma Beqaj successfully defended her dissertation for the award of the scientific degree “Doctor”, entitled:
“Problems and Difficulties in Foreign Language Learning: The Case of Albanian Students of Spanish”
The dissertation was carried out under the scientific supervision of Prof. Assoc. Dr. Adriatik Derjaj.
The study provides a descriptive and quantitative analysis of the approaches and methods used in foreign language teaching, with a focus on Spanish, identifying and examining the difficulties encountered by Albanian students throughout the process of learning Spanish in higher education in Albania.
The research findings highlight various factors and challenges related to the teaching and learning of Spanish, providing a basis for reflection on and improvement of pedagogical practices.
The results and recommendations of the study may contribute to improving the teaching and learning of Spanish and may also serve as a reference for further research and practice in foreign language education.
