The Faculty of Foreign Languages, in collaboration with the Faculty of History and Philology, organized today, for the second consecutive year, the “Job Fair 2023,” with the participation of over 40 companies, organizations, educational institutions, publishing houses, travel agencies, and other businesses.
The Job Fair served as a meeting point between students and companies or institutions, providing them with direct access to offers, opportunities, and advantages in today’s labor market, as well as procedures for internships, professional practice, employment, and other forms of collaboration of mutual interest.
The event was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Prof. Dr. Esmeralda Kromidha, and the Dean of the Faculty of History and Philology, Prof. Dr. Sabri Laçi.
The Deans emphasized the importance of such meetings between businesses, institutions, students, and lecturers in order to better understand the professional skills required by the market and to align training programs with those needs.
At this fair, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, His Excellency Mr. Alvaro Renedo Zalba, and the Deputy Minister of Education and Sports, Ms. Nina Guga.
The Ambassador underlined the role and significance of the Spanish language and culture in today’s world, the cooperation between the two countries in the field of education, and invited attendees to the conference and events of May 15, titled “Spanish: A Global Language.”
The Deputy Minister praised the faculties’ initiative in organizing the Job Fair and highlighted the process of internationalization of higher education institutions as well as the continuous support of the Ministry of Education and Sports.
