The Teaching and Research Group “German Linguistics” focuses on research, internal scientific exchange, and the contemporary, communicative transmission of updated knowledge in German linguistics and all its disciplines.

The priorities of this Teaching and Research Group are related to activities aimed at conducting theoretical and practical scientific studies (didactic and empirical), in accordance with the principles of the Teaching and Research Group. These studies will serve as a supportive and complementary resource for courses, linguistic disciplines, lectures, and seminars.

The updating of syllabi for linguistic disciplines, organized and planned support for students, as well as support for doctoral students in this field, constitute important areas of focus.

Objectives of the Group:

  • With the aim of translating scientific research into practice, the syllabi of linguistic disciplines will be updated and the allocation of teaching hours at Bachelor’s level will be reviewed.
  • Conducting practical/didactic and empirical studies in accordance with the principles of the Teaching and Research Group (the individual research areas of its members), which will serve as illustrative and complementary resources for courses, linguistic disciplines, lectures, and seminars.
  • Supporting doctoral students in the field and implementing activities related to scientific projects remain priorities of this team.
