Quality Evaluation within the Framework of Accreditation

Quality Evaluation within the Framework of Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions and Study Programs

The Faculty of Foreign Languages (FFL), in accordance with national and international standards of higher education, has established a comprehensive system aimed at ensuring quality across all academic and administrative activities, including teaching, scientific research, student services, and institutional governance.

Within the framework of institutional and study program accreditation, the Internal Quality Assurance Units (IQAUs) conduct regular monitoring and evaluations of curriculum design and implementation, teaching quality, the performance of academic and academic-support staff, as well as students’ needs related to academic, psychosocial, and career support.

Through this continuous process, the FFL aims not only to meet accreditation requirements but also to promote a sustainable quality culture in which continuous improvement and the active involvement of academic staff and students are central to institutional development.

The Faculty of Foreign Languages has successfully completed the internal quality evaluation process for the accreditation of Bachelor’s programs in all offered profiles, the Master of Science in Technical – Literary Translation and Interpretation, and the Master of Science in Teaching Turkish for Upper Secondary Education, in accordance with the applicable legislation and bylaws.

Furthermore, the FFL has initiated the accreditation process for the following study programs: the Master’s programs in Teaching Foreign Languages for Upper Secondary Education, the Master of Science in Intercultural Communication and Tourism (Trilingual), and the Doctoral Program in Human Sciences.
