👩‍🏫 The event was held with the participation of Ms. Ansela Neza, specialist at the Tirana Local Education Office (LEO), who provided detailed and up-to-date information on the procedures, criteria, and required documentation for applying for and undertaking the Professional Practice, as part of the pre-licensing process.
🎯 The main objective of this session was to inform and guide students in the final stage of the Master of Science in Teaching, as well as to distribute the official informational package related to the Professional Practice. During the activity, the following issues were addressed:
▪️ the legal framework of the regulated teaching profession
▪️ the stages of professional practice and the responsible institutions
▪️ application deadlines and supporting documentation
▪️ the role of the mentor and the trainee assessment process.
đź’¬ Students had the opportunity to raise questions and discuss specific issues related to their involvement in this process, making the activity interactive and practically useful.
✨ In conclusion, the activity was considered necessary and informative, contributing to the professional preparation of students and to the clarification of the steps they must follow toward obtaining a teaching license. The Teaching and Research Group in Didactics views this activity as a fundamental element of the academic and professional support extended to students of the Department of English Language.
