Within the framework of the Francophonie Spring, the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Department of French Language had the pleasure of organizing the promotion of the work “Miqësi të trishta” (“Sad Friendships”) by the writer Llazar Llazari, now translated into French as “Tristes amitiés”.
This translation was carried out with dedication by Raul Lilo, a professor in the Department of French Language, offering a sensitive and faithful interpretation of the original work. Through this French-language edition, Francophone readers are introduced to a world of profound emotions and reflections on friendship and life.
The event also included an open discussion, where colleagues and students in attendance shared their thoughts and asked questions, creating a dynamic and interactive atmosphere.
This publication represents an important step in strengthening cultural bridges and promoting the values of Francophonie, once again demonstrating the indispensable role of translation as a powerful tool of intercultural communication.
