The Teaching and Research Group in Didactics is committed to the development and improvement of contemporary teaching and learning practices, with a particular focus on English language didactics. Through scientific research, academic cooperation and professional development activities, the group aims to contribute to improving the quality of education and to the professional preparation of students and young researchers.
The group aims to:
- Deepen international cooperation, by expanding participation in conferences, seminars and joint research projects in the field of teaching and learning, as well as establishing new partnerships with European universities.
- Further develop information and training sessions, by organising regular sessions for students and doctoral students on research methodology, academic ethics, the use of digital tools and academic communication skills.
- Integrate technology and digital media into teaching, through the implementation of innovative strategies and the use of online platforms and new didactic tools in language teaching.
- Strengthen links with the labour market, by preparing students for employability through dedicated workshops, cooperation with institutions and the development of practical projects that connect scientific research with the needs of the professional environment.
- Support scientific publications, by encouraging academic staff and students to publish in internationally indexed journals, as well as by creating an online database of thesis topics and research conducted within the department.
- Combine new methodological approaches, through experimentation with innovative forms and methods in seminars and teaching practice, enriching the academic environment with new pedagogical experiences.
The work carried out to date has established a solid foundation for the further development of the group, positioning it as an important centre for research and innovation in the field of English language didactics.
