“Professor José Antonio Gurpegui, Director of Instituto Franklin-UAH and experienced professor of American Literature and American Studies, visited the Faculty of Foreign Languages on January 23. He met the British and American Studies students and professors from the English department and talked about teaching American Literature and American Studies at the University of Alcalà, Spain. We also discussed current developments in American Studies, such as the new administration and its first actions. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about exchange opportunities between the two universities and prospects of graduate studies in American Studies.”
