Today, in the “Rozafa” hall of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana, the promotion of the book “August Dozon and His Work” by Prof. Dr. Shezai Rrokaj was held, in cooperation with the Onufri Publishing House.
The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Kromidha, who introduced the author and highlighted his significant contribution to Albanological studies.
The activity continued with a review delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lorena Dedja, who provided a detailed assessment of the study, emphasizing the importance of August Dozon’s figure and his influence on studies of the Albanian language and culture.
Subsequently, Prof. Dr. Shezai Rrokaj delivered a lecture on his research experience and the process of preparing this study, sharing reflections with the audience on the importance of bringing prominent figures of Albanology back into scholarly attention.
During the event, students and academic staff had the opportunity to become more closely acquainted with the publication, as well as to engage in an open discussion with the author through questions and comments.
