As part of the Erasmus+ program, students attending their studies this semester at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana, had the opportunity to meet with the Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Esmeralda Kromidha, and the program coordinator at the faculty level, Dr. Drita Rira.
During this special meeting, Erasmus+ students shared their academic and cultural experiences so far, reflecting on the challenges and achievements they have encountered while studying abroad. They also got to know one another in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere, establishing new connections and developing social and professional networks across universities.
Furthermore, the students presented their home universities, including the University of Poitiers (France), Necmettin Erbakan University (Turkey), Paris Institute of Political Studies (France), University of Caen (France), and the University of Chieti-Pescara (Italy), highlighting the academic characteristics, culture, and traditions of their institutions. This enriched the discussion and facilitated the exchange of ideas among participants.
This activity was not merely a formal meeting; it provided a vibrant experience of integration into the academic and cultural environment of the Faculty, helping students feel part of the university community and strengthening international cooperation.
Meetings like these, enriched with discussions, presentations, and the sharing of experiences, aim to promote cultural dialogue, reinforce academic connections, and support the professional and personal development of students during their Erasmus+ stay.
