Faculty of Foreign Languages hosted three concluding activities of the project “On Poetry with Luljeta Lleshanaku”

In recent days, the Faculty of Foreign Languages hosted three concluding activities of the project “On Poetry with Luljeta Lleshanaku”, organized on the initiative of the Faculty’s Literary Club and the Research Group on Literature in the Department of English, and supported by the National Book and Reading Center.

The activities – “Literary Evening with the Students Participating in the Project”, “Meeting with Young Poets”, and “The Translated Poet and the Poet-Translator”- offered guests and audiences the opportunity to exchange various views regarding the process of literary creation, self-editing and editing, encounters with readers, the media and publishers, the need for in-depth reading, the challenges of writing, the intersections between writing and translating poetry, as well as a range of other issues related to each of these processes.

The students addressed numerous questions and comments to the poet Luljeta Lleshanaku and to the other guests, gaining the opportunity to become acquainted firsthand with their creative experiences and perspectives.

At the conclusion of the meetings, the project coordinator, Manjola Nasi, spoke about the special value that this nearly six-month-long project had brought throughout its duration, and highlighted the importance of institutional support for such literary writing programs, which assist participants in their creative process and in the enhancement of the skills associated with it.
