On March 19, 2026, the Turkish language lecturers, Associate Professor Dr. Xhemile Abdiu and Dr. Alban Foçi, held an informative meeting with graduating students at the “Asim Vokshi” Language-Oriented High School. During the session, students were introduced to the study opportunities offered by the Department of Turkish Language at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
Following an overview of the Faculty’s academic offer, including both Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in Turkish Language, the lecturers highlighted the Department’s collaborations with universities in Turkey, opportunities within the Erasmus+ programme, and the support provided by the Turkish government to Albanian students through various scholarship schemes—many of which have been successfully awarded to students of the Department.
The meeting was also attended by current students of the Turkish Language Department who had previously participated in Erasmus+ mobility programmes at universities in Turkey and are now completing their teaching practice.
The session concluded with an engaging and interactive discussion between the lecturers and the students.
