MEETINGS AND LECTURES WITH Assoc. Prof. Dr. MÁRIA BAJNER, PH.D, UNIVERSITY OF PECS, HUNGARY, FACULTY OF CULTURAL SCIENCES, EDUCATION AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT, 24-25 September 2018

In the framework of the CEEPUS Program and the events organized by the Department of English Language, Faculty of Foreign Languages, the lecturers of the English Department, and other departments of the Faculty of Foreign Languages welcomed and followed attentively the series of interactive lectures presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr Mária Bajner, Ph.D, University of Pecs, Hungary, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Education and Regional Development, at Europa Lecture Hall, (Faculty of Foreign Languages), September 24th and 25th 2018.

In her presentation, Assoc. Prof. Dr Mária Bajner, Ph.D made an introductory overview of various aspects of life in Hungary, city of Pecs, as well as her experience at the University of Pecs, Hungary, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Education and Regional Development

It was through the interactive lectures, fruitful opinion-sharing, numerous discussions, that the attendees were informed about such aspects as “Gender Stereotypes and the Media”, “Online Learning: Pros and Cons”.

In addition, in various meetings with fellow colleagues from the English Department, and a meeting with the Dean of Faculty of Foreign Languages, Prof. Dr. Artur Sula, opinions and experiences of mutual interest were shared, focusing on future collaboration with the University of Pecs, Hungary, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Education and Regional Development, as well as potential involvement in joint projects with various partners in the region and beyond.
