Assistant Lecturer Andia Dani has completed her Bachelor studies at the Department of Spanish Language at the Faculty of Foreign Languages in Tirana, in 2013 and was graduated in “Language, Literature and Hispanic Civilization.” Then she continued her studies and owned a Master of Science in “¨Language and Intercultural Communication and Tourism.” After completing her university studies with high results, she started a postgraduate specialization at the University of Granada, in Spain, and she was graduated in the field of teaching Spanish as a foreign language. After a six-month stay in Spain, she returns, to continue her work as a lecturer at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
Throughout the years, as part of the academic staff of this faculty, she has continued to attend various professional trainings in the field of teaching, where the most important were the ones performed at the University of Malaga, the University of Salamanca and the University of Segovia, Spain. In 2018, she was certified by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment as a national tourist guide in the Spanish language, working for some of the largest tourism companies in the country. In 2019, she attended the preparatory course to be an examiner for the internationally recognized DELE Spanish language defense exam from the Cervantes Institute.
In June 2023, she started her third cycle of studies for obtaining the Doctorate degree at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, in Tirana. She participates in the International Conference “Didactics of foreign languages and cultures: From language policies to approaches for a competence of multilingualism.” with the title of the statement: “Improving cultural communicative competence in tourist communication through Spanish for Specific Purposes.”
