The Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana, had the pleasure of welcoming journalist and TV presenter Ms. Alma Çupi for an open lecture on the topic:
“Opportunities for Youth Engagement in the Tourism Sector and Cultural Promotion”
The event attracted significant interest from both students and academic staff, marked by strong attendance and a lively, discussion-driven atmosphere. The lecture evolved into a genuinely interactive forum, where students actively participated through insightful questions and exchanges on the challenges and opportunities shaping today’s tourism sector.
Key issues addressed during the session included youth integration into the labor market, the development of entrepreneurship in tourism, and the pivotal role of cultural heritage promotion within an increasingly globalized context. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of foreign languages and intercultural communication as essential competencies for success in this field.
