Visit to the Ottoman Room: Cultural Heritage and Academic Inspiration 📚✨

🌟 The second-year students of the study program Master in Turkish Language Teaching, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Xhemile Abdiu, had the opportunity to visit the Ottoman Room at the “Sotir Kolea” Center, located within the National Library. They were warmly welcomed by the Center’s Director and Mr. Hisen Sulejmani.

🏛 The Center represents an invaluable cultural treasure, housing an extraordinary collection of rare books. During the visit, Mr. Hisen Sulejmani delivered a presentation in Turkish, highlighting the significance of the collection, with a particular focus on the Ottoman Room, which contains over 4,000 books in Ottoman, Turkish, and Persian language.

📚 Students were introduced to the categorization of the collection and were able to closely examine original works authored by Sami Frashëri, along with encyclopedias, books, and manuscripts of great cultural and literary importance. These included works by notable figures such as Dede Korkut, Mevlana, and various other poets, as well as manuscripts by bejtexhinj poets.
