Within the framework of preparations for the implementation of teaching practice, the Didactics Research and Teaching Group of the Department of English Language, Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana, organized an informative meeting on 10 February 2026 with students enrolled in the Master of Science programme “English Language Teaching for Upper Secondary Education”. The purpose of this activity was to provide guidance on the organization and implementation of teaching practice, in accordance with academic standards and institutional requirements.
During the meeting, the main guidelines regarding the structure and organization of the practice were presented, together with the procedural steps to be followed for its initiation in educational institutions, as well as the necessary documentation that students are required to complete and submit. Issues related to the practice calendar, relevant deadlines, and assessment criteria were also addressed, emphasizing the importance of adhering to these requirements in order to ensure a well-organized and successful process.
The meeting was conducted in an interactive format, allowing students to raise questions and seek clarification on various aspects of the practice, including the selection of educational institutions, the organization of the practice portfolio, and the method of final assessment.
