“Research Innovations within the Framework of Doctoral Programme Projects at the FFL”.

This event was not merely a space for presentations, but also an important moment of strategic reflection on doctoral research, in line with the FFL Development Strategy 2024–2028.

🔹 The activity was opened by Prof. Dr. Esmeralda Kromidha, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, who emphasized the key role of doctoral research in the academic and institutional development of the Faculty.
🔹Following this, Anida Kisi, Vice Dean for Scientific Research and Projects, delivered a detailed analysis of doctoral projects, presenting statistical data on doctoral topics, defenses, scientific presentations, publications, methodological challenges, and perspectives for internationalization.

During the analytical session, departments and teaching and research groups presented the progress and impact of doctoral projects, the most extensively researched themes, research achievements, as well as methodological issues and challenges encountered during their development, while also proposing ideas for reorientation and new research priorities.

Discussions were conducted in an analytical and collaborative spirit, focusing on the actual progress of doctoral projects, the analysis of work accomplished to date, and statistical data on doctoral defenses and scientific presentations. Particular attention was devoted to interdepartmental cooperation, methodological challenges, and perspectives regarding the call for applications to the doctoral programme for the academic year 2026–2027, with the aim of reviewing and aligning priority projects in accordance with standards of academic quality and contemporary research.
