As part of the doctoral program, a Study Day entitled “How to Write a Research Article” was held, led by Saverina Pasho. The training activity took place at the DiPLLIng Scientific Laboratory and involved doctoral students and second-year Master’s students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the University of Tirana.
This topic is of particular importance for the academic and scientific training of students who aspire to pursue a career in research, as academic writing represents one of the core competencies of a researcher. During the activity, emphasis was placed on the development of analytical and critical thinking skills, the clear structuring of scientific argumentation, the correct use of sources, and adherence to academic ethics. Students were introduced to the main stages of drafting a scientific article, from formulating the research question and methodology to presenting and discussing the results.
In this context, the Study Day served as an important step in strengthening students’ research capacities by equipping them with practical knowledge and essential methodological guidance for producing high-quality scientific publications and for active engagement in the academic community.
