đŒ Experience:
Since 2006, Prof. Dr. Prodani has been a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana, where she also teaches SpanishâAlbanian translation. She has held the title of Professor since 2016. Her research focuses on the cognitive-functional approach to translation and on translation pedagogy, particularly within the German âNew Orientationâ school of translation studies.
âš Contribution:
Author and translator of numerous literary and scholarly works, including: Bilingual Anthology of Poetry by Martha AsunciĂłn Alonso and MarĂa Moreno Molina (2018); Nieremberg: Aphorisms and Fragments on Human Nature (2016); Gunterâs Winter by Juan Manuel Marcos (2020); and The Hive by Nobel laureate Camilo JosĂ© Cela.
In 2023, she led a project at the Faculty of Foreign Languages for the translation into Spanish of museum and tourism materials for several museums and archaeological parks across Albania, including: the House of Leaves Museum brochure; audio guides for the Ethnographic Museums of Kruja and Kavaja; the Medieval Art Museum in Korça; the Skanderbeg Museum in Kruja; the Cold War Museum, the Ismail Kadare Museum, and the Ethnographic Museum in Gjirokastër; as well as brochures and catalogues for the Apollonia and Bylis Archaeological Parks, among others.
She is also co-author of the international scholarly volume Pablo Neruda en el espejo del socialismo: Literary Trajectories in Central and Southeastern Europe during the Cold War (Peter Lang, 2023).
