The objectives of the “German Language Civilization” group are related to providing an overview of the group’s performance, allowing for an assessment of the level of progress achieved to date and reflection on the current situation, while identifying key priorities for the future. These priorities are expected to serve as a basis for developing strategies at the level of the group, department, and faculty for the years 2022–2024.
The priorities of this group include participation in various conferences focusing on the history and geography of German-speaking countries, intercultural studies, didactics of German-language civilization, etc.
The Teaching and Research Group for Civilization within the Department of German Language consists of six full-time female academic staff members, predominantly young, with strong professional capacities and ambitious goals in teaching and professional development. All academic staff members are actively engaged in professional development and, at the same time, in scientific research:

The working group aims to analyze several key components/indicators of teaching quality that require further improvement.
This Teaching and Research Group has established practices for evaluating the content of syllabi, assessing their need for updating, aligning them with the professional training requirements of the labour market, clearly defining course objectives, reviewing the selected literature, evaluating the methodology used for knowledge acquisition, assessment methods and question banks, etc.
Master’s thesis topics are also a key focus of the group’s work.
