As part of the promotion of the Russian Language Department’s programs, the Russian language teaching-research group “Linguistics-Translation” organized a cultural event titled “Maslenica: Russian Culture and Tradition. Russian Cuisine”, held at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
This activity, organized within the framework of the History-Civilization courses, brought together lecturers and students from the Russian Language Department and beyond. High school seniors from language-focused schools such as “Asim Vokshi,” the United High School “Mustafa Kemal Ataturk,” and others were invited to attend.
Participants were introduced to Russian culture and traditions related to the celebration of traditional festivals in Russia, rich in various cultural elements. On this occasion, students from the Russian Language Department organized a fair featuring Russian culinary products.
