Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alnida Koroshi
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alnida Koroshi (Shano) is a full time staff at the Department of Italian Language, Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana. She has 15 years of work experience as a lecturer and researcher. In 2005, she graduated from this Faculty, in the branch of Italian Language, with a profile of Translation/Interpretation. During the period 2006-2008, she completed post-graduate studies (PGS) in the field of linguistics and comparative translation, and in the same field, in 2015, doctoral studies, presenting a paper on the topic: Linguistic and cultural approach of phraseological units related to parts and body organs in the Italian and Albanian languages.
In parallel with these studies, in 2009, she graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences in the Social Work profile and completed her studies in this field with a professional Master’s degree in “Social Policy Analysis” in 2012 at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Social Sciences.
Alnida is a translator and interpreter of the Italian language, licensed by the Albanian Ministry of Justice.
She has participated in international projects in collaboration with various universities in Italy: Università degli Studi del Molise (2006), Università per Stranieri di Perugia (2007), Università degli Studi di Milano (2007), Università del Salento (2008), Università di Liège (2018), Università di Torino (2017/2022). She has participated in several international projects funded by the EU such as Interreg IIIA VIAGGIADR Project(2006-2007), AENEAS (2007-2010), Lingua di lavoro (2011-2012), ICT (2010-2013) . She is the winner of the national projects financed by the Ministry of Culture “Exhibition of Ethnography” (2019/2020) as well as “Xhubleta Artifakti 4000 years old” (2020/2021).
Teaching and research expertise that include: modern Italian history, international relations, scientific research methodologies, glottodidactics, social policies are the areas where the author has researched, referred to national and international conferences and published various articles in scientific journals.
Alnida is part of the PLIDA International Italian Language Exam certification commissions since 2019 and since 2021 responsible for the Organization and Development of this exam in Albania.
Since September 2020, she has been appointed Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages for the first cycle of studies, quality and curricula.
Alnida Koroshi has received the title of Assoc. Prof. Dr. on 16. 05. 2023 from the University of Tirana
