Dr. Drita Rira is a full-time faculty member in the Department of French Language, Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana. She has 19 years of experience as a lecturer and researcher. After graduating in Translation and Interpreting in 2001, her postgraduate and doctoral studies focused on terminology, international relations, political lexicon, translation, and interpreting.
Her teaching and research expertise encompasses disciplines related to the terminology of international relations, international organizations, political lexicon, translation and interpreting, and tourism communication. She has participated in national and international conferences and has published numerous scientific articles. Additionally, she has contributed to several
international research projects focusing on teaching methodologies and research in the fields of foreign language didactics and tourism communication.
Dr. Rira has undertaken Erasmus+ teaching mobilities in Italy and Bulgaria. She currently serves as Vice Dean for Second Cycle Studies and as Academic Coordinator for Erasmus+.
