Translation and Interpretation Research Group of the German Language
Some of the research issues that this group is dealing with in its research work are:
“Interpreting / translation in virtual reality. The integration of technology in the translation process “- Project containing the following research axes:
Project activities:
- Training of students by making them skilful in the field of virtual translation.- Interpretation / translation in virtual reality. Curricula-Design READ-PROJECT
- Doctorate: “Interpreter, interpretation and political discourse through the analysis of discourses translated from German to Albanian and vice versa”. Research issues
Other group activities:
- Drafting/verification of the content of the relevant subjects for the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic year in a joint meeting – Verification of the relevant syllabi
- Discussions regarding both the current situation and results and possible and necessary changes in curricula and methods, especially the definition of a common topic to be addressed in seminars.
- Competition “Best Translation’’ among students of German language, 2023-2024
- Publication of a booklet with student translations
- In the framework of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of our department we will hold a conference with the topic : “Interculturalität, Mehrsprachigkeit und Sprach(en)politik im europäischen Zusammenhang ( Interculturality, multilingualism and language(s) policy in a European context)”
Participation in conferences and publications in national and international scientific journals with an impact factor remains a permanent commitment of this group.
