On April 17, 2026, the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the University of Tirana hosted a successful and innovative workshop led by Austrian expert Mr. Urs Luger. The event was organized by the Teaching and Research Group “Didactics of the German Language” within the Department of German Language, FGJH-UT.
The workshop explored the use of artificial intelligence for creating songs as an effective didactic tool in foreign language teaching.
Participants engaged in a hands-on learning experience, discovering how AI tools can be used to generate personalized content tailored to learners’ specific needs. Through practical demonstrations and interactive exercises, they followed the full creative process—from idea development and prompt design to song production and classroom integration.
Particular emphasis was placed on the pedagogical value of this approach, illustrating how grammar, vocabulary, and cultural topics can be transformed into engaging and impactful musical learning resources.
The workshop was marked by active participation and strong interest, highlighting the growing importance of integrating innovative technologies into teaching and learning practices.
