In the framework of ongoing transformations in the field of education, and in response to new reforms and the growing demand for teachers who can prepare learners with enduring knowledge and practical competencies to address the challenges of the 21st century, it is imperative to provide teachers with targeted training to support their continued professional development.

The modules offered by the Faculty of Foreign Languages are designed to further enhance the capabilities of foreign language teachers, enabling them to effectively fulfill the objectives of the National Education Strategy 2021–2026.

1.Why are these trainings offered?

👉 👉 To respond to new reforms in education and to the growing demand for teachers who are capable of preparing students with sustainable knowledge and practical skills for the 21st century.

2. Who offers these trainings?

👉 The trainings are provided by the Training and Pedagogical Innovation Branch at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana, licensed by the Ministry of Education and Sports (MES ) (No. 555/68 Prot., dated 30.05.2022) and accredited by the Program Accreditation Commission (Decision No. 176, dated 20.05.2022).

3. What are the main features of the training modules?

👉 The modules carry 1, 2, or 3 credits and are accredited by Agency for Quality Assurance in Pre-University Education and Ministry of Education and Sports of Albania. They aim to:

enhance teaching competences;
support the implementation of the National Education Strategy 2021–2026;
develop key competences such as communication, critical thinking, learning skills, and personal, civic, and digital competences.

4. Who can attend the training modules?

👉 The main beneficiaries include:

· Primary and secondary school teachers;

· Foreign language teachers in lower and upper secondary education;

· Principals and school leaders of nine-year and secondary schools with foreign language profiles;

· Specialists from Regional Directorates of Education and Local Education Offices and inspectors from the State Inspectorate of Education;

· Teachers of social science subjects interested in the teaching portfolio.

5. How are the trainings delivered?

👉 Trainings are delivered:

· Online 💻

· In blended format (online + face-to-face)

· On the premises of the Faculty of Foreign Languages

6. In which language are the modules delivered?

👉 Trainings are delivered in the Albanian language.

8. What is the cost of the modules?

👉 The fee is ALL 1,000 per credit.

10. What happens after completing the training?

👉 Participants receive an officially recognized certificate upon completion of the training.
