The Research Group “Linguistics of the Italian Language” set up at the Italian Language Department, is composed of lecturers of this language, whose training and expertise is in line with the Italian linguistics field.

Objectives of this research group:

  • Review of course syllabi;
  • Realization of the learning process;
  • Follow-up of course assignments;
  • Mentoring Diploma Theses;
  • Administration of questionnaires related to the progress of the teaching process;
  • Promotion of study programs;
  • Student’s assessment.

Expected results:

Improving teaching and learning through:

  • Problem Solving.
  • Analyzing the results of the questionnaires.

Anticipated activities:

  • Promotional activities: “Translations of Italian writers Alda Merini and Grazia Deledda”, in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture.
  • Division of tasks, preparation of Master students in  “Teacher  of Italian Language for upper secondary education’’ dossier with teaching materials, monitoring and verification  for research and didactic purposes of  their professional  
  • Participation in national and international conferences and trainings: “Raising the quality of scientific training of academic staff”.
  • Publications of papers in Proceedings, ISBN, ISSN  
  • Open lectures of Italian professors and Albanians from diaspora: Topics of interest to the research teaching group – Acquaintance with new experiences and innovations in Italian linguistics.
  • Workshops, trainings, conferences and joint publications within the framework of the agreement with the University of Siena – these activities aim to increase the quality of research and publications.
  • The Scientific activities related to the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Italian language department at FFL: “Promoting the values of the academic staff of the Italian language department in four decades” (September 2024).
